Founded on the bustling streets of Kolkata in February 2019, The Baklava Box started as a small outlet, enchanting food enthusiasts with an exquisite variety of baklavas, kunafas, and custom gift boxes.
The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic led us to a pivotal transformation, launching our successful online store on October 15, 2020. Today, we delight over 200,000 customers with more than 200 varieties of Turkish and fusion sweets, all crafted by our in-house Turkish chefs.
Meet the Visionary: Vatsal Agarwal
After graduating from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Vatsal Agarwal embarked on a journey inspired by his family's legacy with Haldiram's and a deep-seated love for Middle Eastern cuisine. His journey led to the creation of The Baklava Box, which, under the guidance of his mother and a year of meticulous planning and preparation, opened its doors in 2019.
